At the heart of Milan lies it's famous cathedral, the Duomo di Milano. Built over six centuries the Duomo di Milano is the fourth largest cathedral in the world and the largest in Italy. Started in 1386 the final completion date is given as the 6th January 1965 when the last gate was inaugurated.
This particular image taken from it's famous rooftop walkway shows the Duomo's famous flying buttresses, pinnacles and spires. File 5020.
