The Plateau de Valensole has littered across it a significant number of crumbling old farm houses and barns. Whilst these make interesting subjects for including in photographs they are a clear reminder of how rural life in France has changed and continues to evolve through the use of machinery.
This composition near Valensole worked best for me with the simplicity of a blue sky, together with the sun on the wheat field, typical of the plateau at the height of summer. File 9997.
