Having taken a bothy at Cleadale for the week the first few days saw nothing but blue skies and sunshine. Then midway through the week the weather broke and after a day of rain driving in from the Atlantic everything came together for the sunset over Rum.
There are those rare occasions when all the elements come together so well that it's necessary to push yourself to take photographs, this was one. Sometimes memories burn themselves so deep inside that long after the event you still feel capable of reaching out and touching that moment again. My thanks to the Bay of Laig for just such a moment.
